TIPS: Can I show dimension with 2 units in Pro/ENGINEER Drawing?

Version: Pro/E 2001, Wildfire, Wildfire 2.0, Wildfire 3.0, Wildfire 4.0

I want to place a dimension with 2 units in Pro/ENGINEER Drawing. Is it possible for me to do that?

ProE Drawing dual dimensioning

Yes, the answer is possible. The method is pretty simple actually. Set these 2 options in the drawing option (File > Properties > Drawing Options) will do.

 

dual_dimensioning

primary[secondary] or secondary[primary]

dual_secondary_units

mm, cm, m, inch or foot

How to add the plus / minus tolerance to the dimensions substituted by Text Display in Pro/ENGINEER drawing? The dimension’s tolerance does not showing up after changing it to the dimension with text display.

TIPS: Quick Print Command in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0 and Later Versions

Quick print command is a new command introduced in Pro/ENGINEER wildfire 3.0 and it will be continue occurred in the later version such as ProE Wildfire 4.0, Wildfire 5.0 and so on. You can use the quick print command to quickly print out the drawing with multiple views of your active ProE model.
